7:45AM – 3:30PM
FedEx Global Education Center
UNC-Chapel Hill

Please join us on Saturday, April 11th for the Duke-UNC Rotary Peace Center’s 23rd Annual Spring Conference!

Our theme this year will be Building Peace from the Margins. Class 23 Rotary Peace Fellows will give presentations on peacebuilding, international development, and conflict transformation from around the globe. Drawing on their academic study and lived experiences, they will share their insights and recommendations on how to bring forward a more peaceful and sustainable world from the margins. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and engage with all the Rotary Peace Fellows (Class 23 and 24) throughout the day.

The conference will take place at the FedEx Global Education Center on UNC-Chapel Hill’s campus from 7:45am to 3:30pm. Doors will open at 7:15am, and attendees are encouraged to check in and view a special exhibition of research posters created by Class 24 fellows as part of the Peace Lab Exhibition at Duke University last December. Lunch and other refreshments will be provided throughout the day.

If you are traveling from out of town and need to book a hotel room, for your convenience, we have reserved blocks of hotel rooms at discounted rates. Information on how to reserve one of these rooms can be found here.

Can’t attend in person? We offer a livestream and Zoom webinar for those who would like to participate in our conference remotely. Those that register here to attend virtually will receive a link and instructions on how to attend in advance of the conference.
