Bautista earned his bachelor’s degree in law from Universidad Nacional de La Plata in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and holds a master’s degree in law and economic integration from Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires. Bautista has strong interests in university lecturing and research. In addition to his work as a lawyer with Marval-O’Farrell & Mairal Attorneys at Law and Intellectual Property Agents in Buenos Aires, Bautista has held positions with the Ministry of Economy in Buenos Aires and with the International Migration Policy Program in Geneva. He was also active in his community in La Plata by volunteering at the María Luisa Servente Children’s Home and at Hogar Don Bosco, where he helped organize the collection of toys, construction materials, and funds for the poor. Bautista is currently working as a Program Officer for the Organization of American States.
