Nidhi received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Delhi, India. After a brief stint with a private bank, she decided to pursue her dream of doing something innovative and more socially useful. Subsequently she joined a Management Institute and studied management of development interventions. She first used her management training in managing reproductive and sexual health programs with a Federal agency in India. Thereafter she worked with the Policy and Partnership Unit of ActionAid International-India where she was engaged in institutional fund raising and monitoring of projects on social justice and poverty alleviation. She also contributed to the strategic development of the organization’s campaigns against sex trafficking and against HIV related stigma. She is interested in working on issues of health, human rights and social justice in South Asia.
