International Day of Peace – Service Project
Each year, in observance of the International Day of Peace, fellows participate in a local service project as a way to show our center’s commitment to creating peace at all levels. This year, the will volunteer with Habitat for Humanity of Orange County. This is a rewarding opportunity and welcome change of pace from the rigors of studies.

Professional Development Trip
First-year Duke-UNC Rotary fellows will gather in Washington DC for two days of meetings and panels with organizations in the area. This trip is an introduction to some of the organizations working in the field of peace and conflict resolution as well as international development, as a first step in their search for summer internships.

Each spring, our graduating Fellows from the Duke-UNC Rotary Peace Center host Rotarians, faculty, staff, students, and local participants as they present their research on a wide range of issues affecting peace around the world.
